We love our community and want to be better about finding ways to get more involved, whether it is donating our time or a percentage of our sales in the taproom. We have decided to start Make a Difference Monday, a monthly donation night where we will share a portion of our sales with a local non-profit. The organizations will align with our vision as a company and share a passion for our Tucson community. The non-profit will be in the taproom and set up an information table and (if possible) create a special experience to help our customers better understand their organization and work in the community.
For our June Make A Difference Monday, we are pleased to be working with The Sonoran Institute! The Sonoran Institute is a binational conservation organization working to connect people and communities with the natural resources that nourish and sustain them.
In Tucson, much of their work focuses on the Santa Cruz River, which has provided life-sustaining water to humans for more than 12,000 years—a fact that can be hard to believe when we look at much of the river today. This endangered waterway is not yet lost; it is a Living River, and can be brought back to the vitality of its rich history!
Join us in the taproom for a cold beer while supporting a great local organization. See you there, Cheers!
