‘26 Fresh Hop Season is Here!
Our Fresh Hop beer is coming soon, and we’re excited to give you a little info about this year’s special collaboration ahead of its release!
On September 15th, we’ll be releasing Strata Logistics, crafted in partnership with Indie Hops, Westwood Farms, and Proximity Malt.
Fresh Hop season is the short window each year when hops are ready to harvest. Instead of being dried and packaged for use throughout the year, fresh hops are picked and transported to the brewhouse right away, where they’re brewed within hours of harvest.
This year’s Fresh Hop release is a special collaboration, bringing together partners who are each taking thoughtful steps toward more regenerative and resilient agriculture. Here’s a little more about the folks behind the ingredients and what they bring to the finished product:
🌿 Indie Hops: The creators of Strata hops, the star of this year’s Logistics IPA. Strata is an efficient crop that requires relatively few agricultural inputs. Fewer inputs = a lighter footprint throughout the hop-growing and brewing supply chain.
🌱 Westwood Farms: Where our fresh Strata hops were grown. Westwood Farms is an Oregon farm dedicated to enriching the land and the human spirit. They practice regenerative farming with a focus on water quality, climate resilience, and biodiversity—helping build a healthier, more resilient future for the land.
🌾 Proximity Malt: The barley in Strata Logistics comes from Proximity Malt’s ReGenMalt program. They work directly with growers on practices such as cover crops, reduced tillage, crop rotation, nutrient management, and water efficiency. They also collect data to measure environmental impacts and track improvement. ReGenMalt barley has been a foundational ingredient in our beer over the years
It all comes together in the brewery! We brew with the fresh Strata hops shortly after harvest, pairing them with ReGenMalt barley to bring all of these ingredients, and the people and mission behind them, together in one tasty final product. We’re excited to work alongside partners who are taking thoughtful steps toward more regenerative and resilient agriculture!
