What better way to celebrate and appreciate the Sonoran Desert than to toast to it? Stand among the saguaros at the Desert Museum and sip on the best local brews in the Southwest at this year’s Party for the Planet! When you aren't sippin', you can visit with our engaging animals, dance under the stars with DJ Herm, enjoy beer-friendly food, laugh with Tucson Improv Movement, stargaze, and participate in our brand new raffle for a Beer Lovers Gift Basket! You can also go on a night hike, feel the touch of a stingray, get silly with Hello Gorgeous Photo Booth, and more! This year will celebrate Endangered Species Day. This is an opportunity for people to learn about the importance of protecting endangered species (like our Mexican gray wolves) and everyday actions they can take to help.

Food will be available for purchase from Ironwood Terraces and Phoebe’s Coffee Bar, as well as from Fat Noodle, Geronimo’s Revenge, and The Curry Pot. We are also encouraging guests to bring their own pretzel necklaces to munch on between brews. (We will also have them for sale!) While we do have water available for purchase, we encourage you to bring your own reusable water bottle (it is a party for the planet!) We have water fountains all over grounds, and will have additional water stations.
