Make A Difference Monday w/ The Colibrí Center

  • Pueblo Vida Brewing Company 115 E. Broadway Tucson United States (map)

We love our community and want to be better about finding ways to get more involved, whether it is donating our time or a percentage of our sales in the taproom. We have decided to start Make a Difference Monday, a monthly donation night where we will share a portion of our sales with a local non-profit. The organizations will align with our vision as a company and share a passion for our Tucson community. We will be hosting these events every last Monday of each month. The non-profit will be in the taproom and set up an information table and (if possible) create a special experience to help our customers better understand their organization and work in the community.

For our March Make A Difference Monday, we are pleased to be working with Colibri Center for Human Rights! The Colibrí Center partners with families and forensic scientists to find missing people and help identify people who have lost their lives on the border. They collect detailed missing persons reports as well as DNA samples from families searching for missing loved ones. They then work with medical examiners to compare this information to that of unidentified individuals. In Spanish, the word "colibrí" means hummingbird. In various cultures in Latin America, the colibrí is a symbol of strength, hope, and migration. It is also recognized as a messenger between the living and the dead.

Join us in the taproom for a cold beer while supporting a great local organization. See you there, Cheers!
