Pueblo Vida Brewing Company is looking for the optimal person to help make our tasting room in downtown Tucson the friendliest, most efficient beverage destination in craft beerdom. This critical position requires the ability to provide exceptional customer service while multitasking. This is a high-volume, fast-paced position. We are searching for intelligent, enthusiastic, high-energy, outgoing, and high integrity beer servers who want to work in a unique tasting room. To be successful in this position, you must possess an excellent work ethic, a consistent and reliable attendance record, strong attention to detail, and be capable of consistently and independently performing quality work while working quickly in an environment that is often full of distractions. Knowledge of beer is imperative, and we will continue to train the right person. Selected candidates must pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check and have a current Title 4 Certification.
This posting is for tasting room staff only, with no current plans to move anyone into the brewhouse. However, we are still small so you never know.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to serving beer, bussing, cleaning everything, executing transactions through our Point Of Sales system, setting up the bar, closing down for the evening, selling & stocking merchandise, more cleaning, moving and restocking kegs, and giving copious friendly and immediate service to customers and more cleaning. Other tasks may be assigned as needed, so flexibility and a positive “Whatever it Takes” attitude is required.
Must be 21 years old or older and have the endurance to be on your feet serving a ton of beers all day and evening, among various other tasks. Must be able to lift 55+ lbs and use ladder on a daily basis.
We are open 7 days a week. Tasting room staff must be able to work at least two shifts per week, and we would prefer folks with a flexible schedule. Scheduling priority will be given to Certified Cicerone Beer Servers and staff that is committed to continuing their beer education.
